The vessel

The limited edition vessels are designed by Nicolas Arauz and made by hand with ceramicist Ori Carlin at his studio on the Rokeby Estate in the Hudson Valley, New York. Each applicator is handmade in borosilicate glass, for a vessel that is entirely fossil-free.

Sets

Laurent Le Guernec

The collection is composed with perfumer Laurent Le Guernec, whose work bridges classic craft and contemporary clarity. A Paris-born, ISIPCA-trained perfumer, his work includes the FiFi Award-winning Michael by Michael Kors, notable successes across Bond No. 9 and other houses, and 2571 Eau de Parfum, created with Nicolas Arauz and named by the Fragrance Foundation as one of the top five independent fragrances launched in 2024.

The House

The brand also reflects the quiet poise of the countryside and the rugged poetry of the Highlands. Aune refers to the alder tree, which hardens rather than rotting when exposed to water, and whose wood turns deep red when cut. Alder has traditionally been used for leather tooling and shipbuilding. Vere refers to vérité: truth, honesty, and universality.
